On a walking tour through the streets of Madrid’s historic center, we will discover iconic sites such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and Plaza de la Villa. Afterwards, we will board one of our buses for a drive past the city’s most outstanding monuments. We will see the oldest bridge in Madrid, with spectacular views of the Royal Palace. We will continue along Gran Vía, visit the Las Ventas Bullring, pass by the Cibeles Fountain and the Puerta de Alcalá—the most famous of the five ancient gates into Madrid—and see the recently renovated Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. On the way back, we will pass through Calle Serrano and Atocha Station, ending at the Plaza de Oriente parking area, right in front of the Royal Palace.
Free time, then meeting again at our office at the scheduled time to depart for Toledo. We will take a walking tour through the historic city of Toledo, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986, and an impressive blend of Arab, Jewish, and Christian cultures. Learn about its fantastic heritage and see how the coexistence of cultures through the centuries influenced its current architectural style. You will walk through the city cobbled-streets until you reach the Cathedral. Built on the remains of an Arab mosque, its construction started in the 13th century. Today, it is one of the most important Gothic Cathedrals of Spain. Admire the magnificent façade and the huge bell tower before getting inside. Visit its interior and Sacristy, full of masterpieces of the former art museum it was. Amongst them, see fifteen paintings by El Greco. Visit to Toledo will be available from April 1st, 2026.
