   Ponta DE lgada is the door DE entrance to explore the wonders of São Miguel. EXTRA : Observation DE Whales : 65€/adult - 58,50€/children 6 - 12 years (transfer not included). Today you will take a boat trip in the open sea and keep your eyes open to the different species OF whales that pass through our waters. If you're lucky, you can even see baby whales, as the Azores are known POR to be the perfect haven for whales to have their offspring. You never know what you can see when you’re in the water, but with an experienced marine biologist aboard, you’re sure you’ll get the most out of this wild experience.    Explore hidden trails, admire breathtaking views and immerse yourself in the unspoiled nature DE São Miguel. EXTRA : Experience Furnas : 520€/tour (lunch and tickets to the Terra Nostra thermas included) You can spend the day in the Furnas, a small Villa with a beautiful lagoon and known for its volcanic activity. You will start with a walk around DA lagoon, which is covered DE green nature. Next, you will visit the fumarolas, boiling water that comes out of the soil. For lunch, DE taste the Cozido das Furnas, a local dish with a variety of meats and vegetables cooked underground by the volcanic vapors. End your day with a relaxing visit to the botanical garden and a warm bath in a natural thermal pool.
