The village is the heart of rural unspoiled Spain in the region of Castile La Mancha, famous for olive groves, farmland, historic sights, monuments, castles, and of course wineries and artisan farm gastronomic products to your table.
Day by day itinerary
1Pick up day 1⌄
ARRIVAL DAY 1 - We pick you up at 5pm. - Collect oil at the olive oil press at 6pm. - Check into your rural Accommodation at 6:30. - Welcome drink. - Cooking class (or watch with wine) omelette & mountain paella & sangria 7:30pm - Dinner below the 10th century castle 8:30pm. - Rest from 10pm.
Meals: Dinner: All products are sourced directly from local producers & families. Veggies & Vegans catered for too.
Overnight: Beautiful private rooms with private bathrooms in our rural accommodation.
2Full Day 2⌄
- Breakfast at 9am. - Mini-hike (easy). Learn about the agriculture & history of the area at 10am. - Artisan vermouth tasting. - Olive & oil tasting. - Manchego cheese tasting. - Wine tasting. - Honey & black garlic tasting. - Full gastronomic high end lunch at 12:30pm. - Guided tour to the castle escape tunnels. - Rest/Siesta/Relax or self explore at 3pm. - Excursion to nearby medieval town with tapas 7:30pm. - Rest from 10pm.
Meals: Breakfast: Breakfast at your accommodation. · Lunch: The main event for foodies. This is a feast using only locally sourced products from nearby families, paired with wines. · Dinner: Tapas in a nearby medieval town.
Overnight: Beautiful private rooms with private bathrooms in our rural accommodation.
3Departure Day 3⌄
- Churraria visit for breakfast at 9am. - See views over the lake at 10am. - Guided winery visit with tastings at 11:30am. - Gastronomic winery lunch at 1:30pm - See the views from the Monastery in Uclés at 3:30pm - Return transport to Madrid arriving at 5pm.
Meals: Breakfast: Chocolate and Churros in a nearby village. · Lunch: Gastronomic winery lunch.
