Overview

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Southern Italy on this 3-day tour. Enjoy Sorrento’s coastal charm, visit the stunning island of Capri (April to October), and explore the ancient ruins of Pompeii with a professional guide. Includes hotel, transport, skip-the-line tickets, 2 dinners, and a limoncello tasting.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Rome → Sorrento⌄

    For hotel pickup, reach out 24hrs ahead for exact timing. Be in the lobby 10 mins early. If outside our pickup zone, head to Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri church, at least 20 mins before the tour start. Look for our 'I love Rome' team in pink. Metro: A-Line, Repubblica stop. From December 24th, the tour will depart from the new meeting point Viale Giorgio Washington, entrance to the Villa Borghese Park.

    Upon arrival, check in at your 4-star hotel in Sorrento and enjoy free time exploring the vibrant streets of this beautiful coastal town. Optional: Excursion to the Amalfi Coast available.

  2. 2Sorrento → Capri → Sorrento⌄

    Capri Expedition: Post-breakfast, get ready to embark on an island adventure.

    Blue Grotto Marvel: Weather permitting, revel in a boat tour of the ethereal Blue Grotto, a natural spectacle of azure reflections. [visit not included from November to March] Free Time in Capri: Post-lunch (not included), immerse in Capri's allure through leisure exploration or shopping.

    Return to Sorrento: Conclude the day with a serene boat ride back to Sorrento for dinner (included) and rest.

  3. 3Sorrento → Pompeii → Rome⌄

    After breakfast, enjoy a final morning in Sorrento. Around 1:15 PM, depart for Pompeii with our expert tour leader.

Walk through preserved streets, homes, and temples, learning about daily life before the 79 AD eruption of Mount Vesuvius. At the end of the tour, return to Rome, filled with unforgettable memories of the stunning coast, Capri’s beauty, and Pompeii’s history.
