Sri Lanka has one of the densest leopard populations in the world, and herds of Asian elephants that are easier to see than almost anywhere in Asia. Its parks are small and close to the main tourist routes, so a half day safari fits into most itineraries.
Each park has a strength. Pick by the animal you most want to see and the part of the island you are visiting.
