Day by day itinerary

1. 1Day 1: Arrive in Chengdu⌄

   Arrive at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport on the first day according to the flight arrangement. After arriving at Chengdu Tianfu Airport, check into Tianfu International Hotel Thoughtful reminder: It is recommended to get enough sleep the day before entering Tibet to alleviate altitude sickness. Try to arrive in Chengdu before the afternoon.

2. 2Chengdu - Linzhi Airport - Milin Taohua Village - Linzhi⌄

   Arrive at Nyingchi Milin Airport around 11 a.m. and visit Milin Peach Blossom Village.

   Milin Peach Blossom Village is located in Milin County. Every spring, the entire village is picturesquely decorated with pink peach blossoms. The peach blossom season here attracts many tourists to enjoy it.

3. 3Linzhi-Gala Peach Blossom Village-Lulang-Lingzhi⌄

   Depart in the morning for Gala Peach Blossom Village. This village is famous for its magnificent peach blossoms in bloom. Especially in spring every year, tourists flock here to enjoy the beautiful peach blossoms. Gala Peach Blossom Village is located east of Linzhi City, not far from the center of Linzhi. When the peach blossoms are in full bloom, the entire village and surrounding areas are decorated with pink peach blossoms, forming an intoxicating picture. Visitors can stroll here, take photos, appreciate the beauty of nature, and experience Tibet's unique cultural atmosphere.

   After the visit, go to Lulang Linhai. Lulang - in Tibetan, is the place where gods live. In the distance are the snowy mountains and icy peaks that never melt all year round, and in the near distance are the vast forests. It is like a paradise on earth and a fairyland on earth, which makes people reluctant to leave for a long time. Afterwards, we went to Lulang Ranch, which has an idyllic scenery. There is virgin forest on the mountain and alpine pastures at the foot of the mountain, dotted with cattle and sheep. In front of you is a Tibetan wooden house, as if you are in a painting. After the visit, return to Linzhi.

4. 4Nyingchi-Basongcuo-Basongcuo Peach Blossom Village-Lhasa⌄

   Head to Lhasa in the morning and enjoy the scenery along the Niyang River. Legend has it that the Niyang River was formed by the tears of the goddess. The green waves reach the bottom and the water color is particularly quiet and clear. After driving for an hour, we visited Tibet’s most beautiful lake, Basongtso, which is known as Little Switzerland and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and forests. Take a wooden raft up to the small island in the middle of the lake to enjoy the view, and lean on the railing to overlook the lake and mountains of Basong Co.

5. 5Lhasa: Potala Palace-Jokhang Temple-Bajiao Street⌄

   In the morning, visit the Potala Palace, the highest ancient castle-like building complex in the world, the residence of the Dalai Lamas in the past and the center of Tibetan political and religious power; it houses the golden pagoda that stores the true bodies of the Dalai Lamas of the past generations and a large number of precious treasures. Murals, Thangkas, and Buddha statues are concentrated expressions of Tibetan culture.

   After lunch, visit the Jokhang Temple, the earliest Buddhist temple built in the Tubo Dynasty. The temple enshrines the twelve-year-old life-size statue of Sakyamuni who accompanied Princess Wencheng to Tibet. It is the most sacred and spiritual Buddha statue in the hearts of Tibetan people.

   Tourists can not only see the piety of the people in worship, but also join the people in praying for all living beings by turning around the Bajiao Street.

6. 6Lhasa - Yanghu Lake - Karola Glacier - Shigatse⌄

   Depart from Lhasa in the morning and drive to Yamdrok Yumco, one of the three holy lakes in Tibet with dazzling colors and changeable colors.

7. 7Shigatse-Dingri-Everest Base Camp⌄

   In the morning, drive via Lazi to Xiegel, the county seat of Xindingri. Along the way you will climb over the Gyatso La Snow Mountain, which is 5,220 meters above sea level. When you are about to reach Xiegar, you can overlook the majesty of Mount Everest. Along the way you will climb over the pass of Gyatso La Snow Mountain with an altitude of 5220 meters, stop briefly and then rush to Tingri.

   Arrive at the Mount Everest Nature Reserve, the highest altitude mountain in the world, in the afternoon. Looking south from Rongbuk Monastery, the highest temple in the world, is universally recognized as the best place to look up at Mount Everest. At the temple at 5,100 meters, the white pagoda stands tall and colorful prayer flags fly. Take an eco-friendly car to the Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5,200 meters. Here you will dance with Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. If you are lucky enough, you can also see the Everest flag clouds floating like the fire of life.

8. 8Everest Base Camp-Dingri-Shigatse⌄

9. 9Shigatse-Tashilhunpo Monastery-Tibetan home visits-Lhasa⌄
