Day by day itinerary

1. 101: Marrakesh / Ouarzazate⌄

   Reception at Marrakech airport (or Ouarzazate) and drive to Ouarzazate (200 km), crossing the High Atlas chain by the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260 m). Dinner and overnight at the hotel. NB: Night in Marrakech if arrival too late.

   Overnight: riad

2. 2Ouarzazate-Zagora-Mhamid⌄

   Departure by minibus for the Tichka pass (2260 m), then Ouarzazate to reach the Draa Valley, the largest palm grove in Morocco which stretches all the way. Passage through Agdz, Zagora, Tagounit and Mhamid. (450 km and 8h drive from Marrakech, 260 km and 4h drive from Ouarzazate). In the afternoon, first stage, 2 hours of walking to reach the first dunes and set up our bivouac near the palm grove of the old village of M'Hamid. Night under tent.

3. 3Palm grove – Sidi Nagi⌄

   After the palm grove, crossing the plateau of Sidi Naji before joining the dunes of the same name. Installation of the bivouac in the dunes.

4. 404 to Day 06: Sidi Nagi - Erg Zaher⌄

   You leave the dunes of Sidi Naji to approach the large desert spaces. Dunes fill the landscape and you finally reach the big dunes of Erg Zaher. Water supply and meeting at the Zaher well of the Aït Khabbach nomads.

   Overnight: bivouac

5. 5Erg Zaher⌄

   You leave the dunes of Sidi Naji to approach the large desert spaces. Dunes fill the landscape and you finally reach the big dunes of Erg Zaher. Water supply and meeting at the Zaher well of the Aït Khabbach nomads.

   Meals: Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

   Overnight: bivouac

6. 6Erg Zaher⌄

   You leave the dunes of Sidi Naji to approach the large desert spaces. Dunes fill the landscape and you finally reach the big dunes of Erg Zaher. Water supply and meeting at the Zaher well of the Aït Khabbach nomads.

7. 707: Erg Zaher - Erg Ait Ounir⌄

   On the way to the North, you leave Erg Zaher towards Ait Ounir. Very beautiful varied days between dunes, tamarisks and acacias. Bivouac in the dunes of Ait Ounir.

8. 808: Ait Ounir - Ras Nkhal⌄

   After having climbed the dunes of Erg Ounir, you head south-east. This beautiful day of hiking in the dunes gradually ends at Ras Nkhal, located at the entrance to the palm grove of Mahmid. Night between palm trees, tamarisk and sand.

9. 909: Ras Nkhal - Mhamid - Marrakech - Hotel⌄

   a short walk and you find your car in the lost village of Mhamid. Beginning of the transfer back to Marrakech. Installation at the hotel. Visit and free dinner in town.

10. 1010: Return⌄

    Marrakech airport transfer and end of our services.
