Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Arrival in Lhasa⌄

    After you get off the plane, our staff will greet you with the warmest smiles and khaddar on the plateau. After arriving at the plateau, what you need most is to slow down your pace and relax. We will transfer you to the hotel, fully rested, let your body slowly adapt to the atmosphere of the plateau. Zahidler!!!

    Overnight: Oxygen Hotel or similar in Lhasa, ideal for altitude acclimatization with oxygen support and comfortable rooms.

  2. 2Potala Palace & Jokhang Temple Exploration⌄

    (limited to 1 hour in the palace) The Potala Palace built on the Red Mountain is the symbol of Lhasa and even the entire Tibet. It occupies the highest point in Lhasa with its majestic appearance and can be seen from any corner of Lhasa.

    [Jokhang Temple] has a supreme status in Tibetan Buddhism. Jokhang Temple is the most glorious building of the Tubo period in Tibet. It is also the earliest civil structure building in Tibet, and it has pioneered the Tibetan flat-style temple city bureau style.

  3. 3Sacred Yamdrok Lake, Karola Glacier & Gyangtse Town⌄

    Tibetan meaning ‘Jasper Lake’, is one of the three sacred lakes of Tibet, like coral branches in general, so it is also known as ‘above the coral lake’ in Tibetan.

    Karola Glacier] One of the three major continental glaciers in Tibet, the glacier is backed by one of the four major peaks of Tibet, Naiqin Khamsang Snow Mountain, a huge glacier from the top of the mountain where the clouds and mist drift, has been extended to only a few hundred metres away from the highway by the side of the road.

  4. 4Journey to Mount Everest Base Camp⌄

    1. Accommodation is at the Everest Base Camp B&B (public toilet, limited conditions): generally clean and tidy, quite different from the city hotels, please understand 2. The food and accommodation on that day are poor, the altitude is high, and the temperature is low, please pay attention to cold protection. Pay attention to safety and prevent altitude sickness. In summer, the temperature is around 0-8 degrees at night. Please bring warm clothes. You can also rent down jackets at the base camp to keep warm.

    Rongbuk Monastery is about 5,100 meters above sea level, with high and cold terrain and wonderful scenery. The new Everest Base Camp is nearby. If you are lucky, you can also see the Everest flag cloud floating like the fire of life.

    Overnight: Basic guesthouse at Everest Base Camp with shared toilets and warm bedding, perfect for the high-altitude night.

  5. 5Sunrise at Everest & Return to Shigatse⌄

    Standing on the top of the earth, facing the sun and looking up at Mount Everest, the peak is covered with snow all year round. Looking at the glaciers hanging in the distance, the silver peaks are towering, a holy scene, and the scene of Mount Everest sunrise (the shooting effect depends on the weather)

    Jiacuo La Mountain is the only way to the world's first peak - Mount Everest. The pass is 5252 meters above sea level and is the highest point on the China-Nepal Highway. If the weather is clear, you can stand at Jiacuo La Pass and see Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse and Makalu.

    Overnight: Return to 4-star hotel in Shigatse for a warm shower, soft bed, and relaxing end to your Everest experience.

  6. 6Tashilhunpo Monastery & Return to Lhasa⌄

    Tashilhunpo Monastery, also known as "Auspicious Xumi Temple", is the largest temple in Shigatse. It is listed as one of the six major temples of the Gelug Sect along with Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and Ganden Monastery in Lhasa, Ta'er Monastery in Qinghai and Labrang Monastery in Gansu. It was initiated by the first Dalai Lama Gendun Zhuba, a disciple of Tsongkhapa, in 1447. Highlights of the tour:

  7. 7Departure from Lhasa⌄

    After breakfast, send the group to the airport or station according to the flight schedule to end the pleasant trip. The city is about an hour's drive from the airport. It is recommended to arrange a flight time after 10 o'clock.
