Experience a unique immersion in the heart of the Moroccan desert with a nomadic trek and Qi Gong sessions. This 10-day trip offers an authentic experience, combining the discovery of breathtaking desert landscapes, Berber culture, and soothing energy practices. Accompanied by experienced camel drivers and a French-speaking guide, you will walk lightly thanks to the camels that will carry your luggage. Enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine while participating in Qi Gong, Breath, and Meditation sessions accessible to everyone, to revitalize your body and mind.

- 8 days of trekking including 7 nights of bivouac at La Belle Etoile and 2 nights in a Riad.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Participant reception - check-in at the Riad - Dinner⌄

    We will discover together Jamaa El Emna Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and its atmosphere at Nightfall

  2. 2The awakening of the journey: Ras N'Khel, at the gates of the Sahara⌄

    Quiet breakfast on the terrace of your Riad and Check-out by private air-conditioned taxi (or comfortable minibus depending on the number of participants) along the Tizi n'Tichka pass road to Ouarzazate. Around noon, tasting a succulent Tagine. The road continues along the green valley of the Draa to Zagora. Continue the journey to Mhamid until the meeting point with the chameliere team. We begin this 8-day trek, walking Check-out Ras N'Khel, not far from Mhamid, to the first bivouac in the desert. -

  3. 3The beginnings of the desert and Sidi Naji⌄

    Every morning, we will immerse ourselves in a time of contemplation to welcome the sunrise. You are getting ready for the day and gathering our things. Then, I will offer you physical and energetic awakening through the practice of Qi Gong, breathing, ... Then, we will begin our crossing. The walk is offered silently at first, then various practices can be offered. Crammed onto the slow pace of the dromedaries, we enter the desert. After lunch, we go to the sanctuary of Sidi Naji to spend the night there. The scenery offers an alternation of small dunes, plateaus, and tamarisk groves. Evening under the starry sky to the sound of nomadic traditional music. Stargazing night (option to stay in the communal tent if you wish)

  4. 4The immensity of the Sea of Sand⌄

    Check-out from the dunes of Sidi Naji for a few hours of progression towards the great dunes of Zmayla. The space is totally preserved, offering absolute silence. The sharing of the meal takes place in the shade of a Tamarix in Amyrir. In the afternoon current, we reach the magnificent screaming dunes, this ocean of sand that offers a vibrant panorama. Dinner and rest under the tent or in direct communion with the celestial vault

  5. 5Encounters and sources of life⌄

    The reliefs of the Drâa Hamada fade as we gain the Erg Sadra. We then head towards Erg Smar where we will set up our camp for the night, not far from a water source. It will be an opportunity to draw the necessary water and quench the thirst of the camels Luck may smile upon us through the encounter of a nomadic shepherd who also came to water his flock. Dinner and an evening of sharing around the bonfire.

  6. 6On the traces of the ancients⌄

    Today, we are setting our course for Erg Bogarn, on one of the routes once traveled by nomadic caravans on their way to Timbuktu. Walking day in the silence of the desert and evening camp at Bogarn. Evening under the stars and sharing nomadic traditions (Sand bread)

  7. 7The metamorphosis of the landscape⌄

    We continue our advance towards Oued Naan, a moment that marks a change of scenery. A more mineral facet of the Sahara is revealed as we approach the stone desert. In the late afternoon, the Bivouac is set up not far from the Naam wadi, for a new evening and night under the firmament.

  9. 9Bertem - Bono⌄

    Quiet check-out after breakfast heading to Ras N’Khel. Another good lunch prepared by our Nomad Cooks in the desert. Finally, the caravan arrived at "La Source Gaia" at the end of the day, for dinner and accommodation in groups of 4 or 3 depending on availability. Single accommodation based on availability with an extra charge of 30 Eur per night.

  10. 10Bono-Marrakech⌄

    Early in the morning, check-out after breakfast, for the return to Marrakech. Along the road, various stops to cool down and discover the local craftsmanship of the villages passed through or simply have traditional tea with your hosts. Dinner and accommodation in a Riad in the Medina. (Rooms for 4, 3 or 2 people)
